What is Separation Anxiety?
Separation anxiety is very similar to a phobia in humans. When a dog with separation anxiety is left alone, they are experiencing a true panic response. Not only is this hard on the dog, but it is very challenging for the owners as well. Living with a dog who panics when left alone is incredibly stressful. Many owners feel frustrated, guilty or even trapped by their dog’s anxiety.
The good news is, separation anxiety is treatable and your dog’s separation anxiety is not your fault. With the right training and support, dogs can learn to feel safe and calm when left alone. As a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer, my approach uses science-based, compassionate methods tailored to your dog’s needs.
You don’t have to go through this alone. Together, we can create a plan that brings relief to both you and your dog so that you can leave your dog alone without worry or guilt.
How Does the Training Program Work?
4-Week Program: $845 (first 4 weeks) $795 (additional 4 weeks)
The Separation Anxiety Training Program takes place through a video communication platform like Zoom or Google Meet. The program requires a minimum 4-week commitment because every dog is unique. The time allows us to learn your dog’s specific behaviors, track patterns, and gather the information we need to get started on a personalized training plan. During these 4 weeks, we work closely with clients 5 days a week. The program can be broken down into the following concepts:
A 1-hour Live Consultation (4 total)- This will be a weekly assessment where we will take a look at your dog’s progress and dive deeper into any questions or issues you may have.
Daily Feedback (5 days a week)- Along with daily mission writing, you will also receive daily feedback based on your dog’s progress. This will allow us to continue to have open and continued communication throughout the week.
Daily Missions (5 days a week)- We will be creating training plans tailored to you and your dog based on their progress and specific needs. These missions will be given daily to get the best possible results.
Unlimited Support (5 days a week)- The daily mission writing and feedback allow for daily communication and support as we go through each week to set you and your dog up for success. This training is a team effort, and we will be with you every step of the way.
