How does Separation Anxiety training work?
4-Week Separation Anxiety Training Package
The program is in 4-week increments, with a minimum of a 4-week commitment. The time allows us to learn your dog’s specific behaviors, track patterns, and gather the information we need to get started on a personalized training plan. During these 4 weeks, we work closely with clients 5 days a week. Each week is broken down into the following concepts:

Live with me through Zoom where we will observe your dog during alone time.

Your training sessions (20-30 minutes) where you will complete the mission, observe your dog while you are going through the mission, and take notes.

Giving you and your dog plenty of time to rest and reset for the next mission!
How will we communicate through each week?
We will communicate through our live assessments and our shared training sheet. The shared sheet is a google doc that we will be communicating through daily. You will write your observations about each mission in the shared sheet and I review your notes. Based off those observations, I will create your dog’s training plan for the next day.
While we are working through the training protocol, we will also put management strategies in place. This means temporarily suspending any absences that are longer than your dog can comfortably handle. Doing so prevents setbacks and allows your dog to continue making steady progress.
As training progresses, your dog’s comfortable alone time will gradually increase. What your dog can handle today may look very different in the coming weeks. By combining management with systematic training, we create the safest and most effective path forward.
